The images below make up my Wedding Photography portfolio. It’s designed to show you the style of my work and guide you through the way I might photograph your wedding day. It will give you an idea of the kind of pictures you can expect.

Being a documentary wedding photographer is all about taking a natural and unposed approach. My aim is to capture the humanity that exists in every wedding day. I’m looking for the connection between loved ones – glances exchanged or the touch of an arm – the essence of emotion. With the exception of a brief stage when I am taking your portraits, my goal is to be as invisible and unobtrusive as possible. I will not interrupt or interfere with the natural flow of the day and I strive to create emotive images which will tell your story authentically and elegantly.

All good stories have a beginning, a middle and an end so I have broken down the portfolio into sections. It starts with the preparations, moving on to the ceremony, the reception, the portraits and finally the party.

You’ll see that the portfolio is made up of pictures taken from many different weddings. Take your time to have a thorough look and then why not head over to the blog where you can see pictures from lots of individual weddings. I have been a full-time professional photographer for over 20 years and the weddings on the blog will demonstrate the consistency and variety I can offer in many venues and across all the seasons.
